UCLA Health's Department of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA (DGSOM) ranks among the world's elite institutions for pediatric research, teaching and clinical care. Our mission is to provide exemplary team-based care for children through state-of-the-art expertise, discoveries, and innovation, while training future generations and serving local communities.

The Department is an academic clinical department with administrative infrastructure spanning finance, human resources, academic personnel, medical education, research administration, and clinical operations. The department relies on effective program management, communications, and systems administration to support its mission across multiple divisions and a large faculty and clinical workforce.

Under the general direction of the Strategic Initiatives & Systems Manager and in coordination with Division Chiefs and Clinic operations leadership, the Business Systems Analyst 3 will bear primary responsibility for business systems analysis and day-to-day administration of the QGenda provider scheduling system used by the Department of Pediatrics. Configure and maintain physician call schedules, clinic assignments, and scheduling logic; serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling system issues; and produce reporting to support coverage planning and operational decision-making across the department.
