Business Systems Analyst

Help Bridge the Gap Between Business and TechnologyFusion HCR is seeking a
Business Systems Analyst to support system integrations, improve business processes, and ensure the accurate exchange of information between internal teams and external partners. This role works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot system issues, and support technology solutions that improve day-to-day operations.We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, understands how business systems work together, and can effectively communicate with both technical and nontechnical teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements for system integrations and enhancements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for development teams.
- Investigate system issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with technical teams to develop lasting solutions.
- Monitor electronic transactions and data exchanges to ensure accuracy and reliability across systems.
- Support system implementations, enhancements, and changes to existing business processes.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate project updates, system functionality, and technical changes.
- Test new features, system updates, and integrations to verify functionality and data accuracy.
- Maintain documentation related to system requirements, processes, and troubleshooting activities.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring timely resolution of issues.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or 2–4 years of relevant experience in business analysis, systems integration, technical support, or a related field.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to investigate technical issues and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
- General understanding of business applications, system integrations, and electronic data exchange.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Experience That Would Be Helpful
- Experience with electronic data interchange (EDI), B2B integrations, or electronic transaction processing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, enterprise applications, or business integration platforms.
- Understanding of data mapping, system connectivity, and information exchange between applications.
- Experience supporting system implementations, integration testing, or business process improvements.
- Exposure to automated workflows, data validation, or electronic document processing.
