About the Role

Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in financial systems, business intelligence, and technology solutions for a lon-standing client in New Have.. This position focuses on supporting enterprise applications, improving financial reporting capabilities, and partnering with business stakeholders to implement technology-driven process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have experience translating business requirements into technical solutions, supporting enterprise systems, and developing reporting and analytical tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to identify system requirements and opportunities for improvement.

• Support the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise financial applications and reporting platforms.

  
  
• 
  

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements, integrations, and new technology solutions.

  
  
• 
  

• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and other business intelligence tools.

  
  
• 
  

• Analyze data across multiple systems to identify discrepancies, improve reporting accuracy, and support business decisions.

• Assist with ERP system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.

  
  
• 
  

• Utilize SQL and other data extraction tools to support reporting and analytics.

  
  
• 
  

• Develop and execute testing plans, including user acceptance testing, to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.

  
  
• 
  

• Troubleshoot application and reporting issues, coordinating with technical teams and vendors to implement solutions.

  
  
• 
  

• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve reporting efficiency.

  
  
• 
  

• Maintain system documentation, process workflows, and end-user training materials.

• Participate in cross-functional technology projects and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 
  

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.

  
  
• 
  

• 4+ years of experience in business systems analysis, IT business analysis, financial systems, or a related role.

  
  
• 
  

• Experience supporting ERP or enterprise applications, preferably Workday Financials, Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.

  
  
• 
  

• Strong understanding of business requirements gathering, systems analysis, and process documentation.

  
  
• 
  

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and business intelligence tools.

  
  
• 
  

• Working knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and reporting methodologies.

  
  
• 
  

• Experience with system implementations, upgrades, integrations, or application support.

  
  
• 
  

• Understanding of financial reporting, accounting processes, or financial operations preferred.

• Experience with data modeling, automation, or AI-enabled reporting tools is a plus.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

The proposed salary range is $85,000–$125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
