We are seeking a
Business Systems Analyst (Salesforce) focused on documenting business requirements and supporting Salesforce-based application solutions to join our Technology Solutions team in support of our Media & Entertainment client building an incredible application solution around global content and entertainment. The IT BA/BSA will play a key role in documenting the business requirements of an existing suite of applications that will be integrated into a unified, seamless solution on a modern application stack, including Salesforce applications and the Salesforce Lightning Experience/UI.
The IT BA/BSA will analyze business processes, translate stakeholder needs into Salesforce functional requirements, and partner with Product, Engineering, Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Solution Architects to deliver scalable solutions. This includes documenting requirements related to Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, page layouts, record types, business processes, workflows, reports, dashboards, user permissions, data integrations, and application functionality. The analyst will also map end-to-end workflows between Salesforce and backend systems hosted in AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This includes understanding data movement, system dependencies, integration points, reporting requirements, and business processes across cloud-hosted applications. The ability to write SQL queries for data validation, investigation, reconciliation, and analysis is highly important for this role.
This project will require the analyst to set up meetings and interviews with stakeholders, document current requirements, write user stories and epics within Jira, define acceptance criteria, and partner with Product and Engineering teams to ensure proper handoff. The IT BA/BSA will translate business needs into functional specifications for product, Salesforce, cloud, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Salesforce implementations, enhancements, integrations, and production applications, including the Salesforce Lightning UI. The candidate should be comfortable analyzing current-state and future-state processes, identifying gaps, documenting Salesforce configuration requirements, mapping workflows across cloud-hosted systems, and validating that Salesforce solutions align with business goals and user workflows.
You will also have experience with user acceptance testing (UAT), application support, and working within an Agile development framework. The analyst will need to work independently as well as within a team environment. Any prior Media & Entertainment experience is preferred (but not required). Must have excellent business communications and be able to work onsite in the Los Angeles area 4 days per week-Monday through Thursday-within standard PST hours.
We have a direct relationship with our client and are setting up interviews immediately for this exciting project.
