    Primary Purpose: Provide systems support and service related to configuration, documentation, testing, training and implementation of new and existing computerized business systems such as with Tyler MUNIS, UKG Ready, Asset Management, Digital Storefront, and other business systems applications. Create customized report, design and develop interfaces for all business systems applications. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field from an accredited college or university recognized by the US Department of Education o Degree may be substituted for an equivalent combination of applicable education, training, and experience as approved by HR Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of ERP systems to include Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Financial Information Systems Knowledge of server basics, relational database concepts, and database systems, user security, automated approval workflow, and business processes Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Financial systems (Tyler MUNIS preferred), Payroll system (UKG Ready preferred), and other web based data management systems Strong Knowledge of Reports and/or SQL Server Reporting Services Knowledge of interface designs and support as well as programming languages Skill in working with application program interfaces Skill in creating customized reports from multiple platforms Skill in analyzing existing manual and computerized operational procedures Skill in developing and documenting operational and technical processes, functions, and procedures involving specific modules and develop appropriate solutions Skill in testing software in light of upgrades, enhancements, etc. Skill in analyzing activities and applying appropriate resolution to problem situations Ability to comprehend complex systems and technical information and explain or present effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders Ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate multiple projects to meet specific deadlines Ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information Ability to maintain effective working relationships and work in close cooperation with multiple users.     Ability to communicate effectively with tact and diplomacy and provide a high level of customer service to administrators, District officials and employees, co-workers, vendors, and outside organizations. Experience: Three years recent experience in a technology environment or closely related area which includes participation in the functional configuration, modification or maintenance of an ERP Financial/HR information system and timekeeping system. o Experience with MUNIS, Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, UKG Ready, SQL Server Reporting Services o Experience training on various computer software applications in either a corporate or educational environment helpful Major Responsibilities and Duties: List Major Area of Responsibility: Provide first level support for all business systems Submit support incidents to vendor support and manage incident progress through completion. Work with Business Systems Analyst and Technology Services Network Engineers to ensure that all UKG Ready time clocks are operational. Research and analyze application updates and recommend modifications Assist in configuration of user permissions and approval workflow. Create and design custom reports from multiple data sources Document data process flow in and out of all business applications. Assist Business Systems Analyst with changes in business applications and test for quality assurance. Ensure users access to software systems by physical installation when needed. Assist in implementation of new applications and deployment of new modules in ERP system. Receive patches/fixes, updates, and enhancements and performs initial unit and integration testing. Troubleshoot problems in the assigned area's modules after release and/or upgrades and other functional configuration changes have been created and reports issues to resolve errors. Develop and maintain training documentation. Provide training assistance to users as needed. Carry out performance tests and checks for data consistency. Communicate system updates to Business Systems users. Assist Business Systems Analyst in design, configuration, and implementation of Business Systems support process. Assist in preparation of PEIMS data transmission. Learns business processes and business requirements of the area assigned. Policy, Reports, and Law: Position requires familiarity with Humble ISD Board Policy, PEIMS data standards, and Texas Labor Law. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required including auditable records and statements. Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy. Attend meetings as required. Attend professional growth activities to keep abreast of innovations in the related industry and remain current on new and emerging technologies. Attend training on various software/hardware that is being supported by Humble ISD and maintain a working knowledge of the same. Maintain an organized work environment. Adaptable to new procedures and changes. Responds to after-hours emergencies as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
