Business Unit Manager

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Business Unit Manager for an aerospace structural components manufacturer, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in P&L ownership, customer negotiations, and cross-functional leadership looking to further their career in aerospace and defense.

•      Own the P&L for a product line, driving bookings, sales, and EBITDA goals

•      Lead a cross-functional team of sales, operations, and engineering through influence

•      Grow new business through value-based pricing, contract review, and negotiation

•      Serve as the key customer contact, resolving production and quality issues

•      Build the annual business plan and present quarterly reviews to executives

Essential Qualifications

•      Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university (required)

•      5+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in aerospace; strong business acumen, financial and numerical reasoning

•      Ability to travel 30-35% and be an ITAR-eligible U.S. Person; background and drug screen required

Bonus Qualifications

•      Engineering or technical degree, or MBA

•      Experience leading direct reports or cross-functional teams
