Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of meat products for our display cases, ensuring every cut meets our high standards of quality.
• Engage with our shoppers by offering advice on cooking techniques, seasoning, and choosing the perfect cut for their family meals.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace that adheres to all safety and health regulations.
• Manage inventory levels by rotating stock and alerting the team when it is time to reorder.
• Collaborate with the rest of the grocery team to create attractive displays that highlight our seasonal offerings.
• Operate and sanitize industrial equipment, such as saws, grinders, and slicers, with care and consistency.

• At least two years of professional meat cutting or butchery experience.
• A deep understanding of knife safety and proper sanitation standards.
• The physical stamina to spend your shift on your feet and handle heavy items.
• Knowledge of various meat cuts, grades, and preparation techniques.
• A valid food handler's permit or the willingness to obtain one upon hire.
