Butler / Personal Assistant

A distinguished principal in Jupiter, Florida, is seeking an exceptionally polished, highly discreet Personal Valet to provide calm, intuitive support at their private residence. This is a hands-on role for someone who anticipates needs before they are expressed, remains composed when plans shift, and makes every day run effortlessly.

The ideal candidate understands "ghost service": being present and prepared without ever being intrusive. They bring impeccable presentation, refined judgment, and a genuine passion for service at the highest level, ensuring the principal's preferences, comfort, and presentation are seamlessly managed within the residence and during local engagements.

Responsibilities:

Wardrobe & Presentation

• Maintain the principal's wardrobe, garments, accessories, and personal effects to an exacting standard
• Oversee garment care, organization, seasonal rotation, and daily outfit preparation
• Prepare attire and essentials for appointments, engagements, and special occasions

Residence Standards

• Ensure the principal's personal spaces are prepared to their precise preferences at all times
• Collaborate with the household team to uphold a flawless standard throughout the home

Principal Service

• Respond to requests with pace, judgment, and warmth
• Maintain constant awareness of priorities and likely needs while protecting privacy and personal space
• Provide meal and beverage service, prepare table settings, and coordinate with culinary staff.
• Welcome guests and assist with entertaining, ensuring thoughtful and consistent service.

Local Support & Coordination

• Prepare for and support local outings, appointments, private engagements, and occasional travel
• Coordinate with drivers, household staff, vendors, and service providers to keep every transition smooth
• Communicate clearly, protect confidential information, and ensure consistent follow-through

Troubleshooting

• Handle last-minute changes and unexpected issues calmly and independently
• Escalate only when necessary, always bringing options and a recommendation to the Chief of Staff

Qualifications:

• Proven experience supporting a high-profile principal, private household, luxury hotel, yacht, or similarly demanding environment
• Impeccable personal presentation, grooming, and etiquette
• Demonstrated discretion; confidentiality agreement required
• High emotional intelligence: perceptive, tactful, and able to build trust without becoming familiar
• Proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented, anticipating needs several steps ahead
• Calm under pressure, resourceful, and decisive
• Expert knowledge of garment care and luxury wardrobe management
• Excellent taste and a genuine understanding of hospitality at the highest level
• Strong communication skills with principals, household staff, and external providers
• Long-term career intent
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• References and background check required

Schedule & Compensation

• Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 annually, commensurate with experience
• Full time; flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed
• Minimal travel
• Benefits include 4% matched retirement contribution and healthcare
