Job Title: Buyer
Job Location: Woburn, MA 01801
Job Duration: 3+ Months Contract (Possible of extension)
Shift Timings: 8 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday (local and travel rate same)
Summary:
Under general supervision of the Manager of Purchasing and Purchasing Coordinator, and within established Hospital and departmental policies and procedures, performs a variety of administrative, buying, inventory control and related duties in support of the purchasing function. Essential job functions are focused on customer satisfaction, effective use of resources, teamwork, innovation and continuous quality improvement.
Important:
Must have flu vaccine during flu season.
Education:
High school diploma/GED required. Associates degree is preferred.
Work Experience:
Five (5) Years experience in a Purchasing department with progressive responsibility is required. Experience with Medical / Surgical supplies, equipment and contracts is preferred.
Knowledge of HRIS system, Microsoft/Google apps such as word and Excel is desirable.
