Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a contract-to-hireBuyer for a company located in Deer Park.

As the Shipping Supervisor you will:

• Procurement & Sourcing: Purchase materials, parts, supplies, and equipment in full compliance with established company purchasing policies and procedures, optimizing price, delivery, and commercial terms. Analyze low-risk market dynamics, cost drivers, and supplier alternatives.
• Contract Administration & Management: Draft contract requirements and technical specifications for a small portfolio or business area. Coordinate subcontractor and supplier activities, serving as the primary point of contact for vendor execution.
• Process & RFQ Oversight: Manage and streamline the end-to-end procurement process. Support the organizational transition from Procure-to-Pay (P2P) to Source-to-Pay (S2P).
• Data & Cost Analysis: Collect, analyze, and evaluate cost data using preset tools and formats. Identify budget variances or opportunities to improve profitability, compiling key financial and analytical reports for senior leadership.
• Operational Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement: Identify instances of non-compliance with organizational policies and regulatory codes. Resolve query inquiries from internal/external stakeholders and arrange alignment meetings to foster commitment.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Finance
• 3 years of procurement experience
• ERP experience required, Oracle preferred

Salary:

• Salary: $40-$45/hr
