Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Buyer II for an aerospace manufacturer which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in outside processing and supplier management looking to further their career in aerospace supply chain.

•      Own third-party processing vendors (e.g., anodizing) supporting the machine shop; role is based on the production floor

•      Issue POs and ensure parts return on time and correctly serviced for the next manufacturing step

•      Drive supplier performance through calls, site visits, scorecards, and PO pull-in/push-out coordination

•      Negotiate pricing and LTAs; run price comparisons using ERP

Essential Qualifications

•      2–5 years of purchasing, procurement, or materials management experience in manufacturing, with ERP experience

•      Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management or related field; must be a US Person or eligible for export authorization

•      Strong sense of urgency, negotiation skills, and ability to build supplier relationships

Bonus Qualifications

•      Highly regulated, high-complexity, fast-paced aerospace environment

•      Lean or Six Sigma background; CPM or CPSM certification
