Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Buyer III for an aerospace R&D manufacturing environment which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in direct procurement and supplier management looking to further their career in aerospace supply chain.

•      Manage tactical direct buying of COTS electronic components, connectors, and build-to-print machined parts

•      Issue RFQs, negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms, and convert requisitions into purchase orders

•      Own supplier management: follow up on commitments, drive on-time delivery, and resolve issues

•      Partner with engineering and quality on specs, traceability, and compliance

Essential Qualifications

•      5+ years of procurement experience, preferably direct buying of COTS and electronic hardware

•      Strong negotiation and supplier management skills; ERP/procurement systems and MS Office

•      Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience

Bonus Qualifications

•      Coupa and Costpoint experience; aerospace or defense background

•      CPM/CPSM certification; strategic sourcing experience
