Charlottesville, VA | Onsite

Travel: Up to 10%

Help keep medical device manufacturing moving. MicroAire is seeking a Buyer/Planner to manage suppliers, purchase materials, and ensure production teams have what they need, when they need it.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Source suppliers and negotiate pricing, delivery, and purchasing terms
Manage purchase orders, material planning, and inventory using an ERP system
Monitor supplier performance and resolve shortages, delivery delays, and quality issues
Use Excel and supply chain data to identify savings and improve processes
Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to support production and compliance

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

At least 3+ years of buying, procurement, or material planning experience
ERP experience required; Epicor is a plus
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage changing priorities in a manufacturing environment
Availability to work onsite and travel up to 10%
Flexibility for occasional work outside regular hours to support suppliers in other time zones
