Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Buyer/Planner II to manage purchasing, production planning, supplier relationships, and inventory control in a manufacturing environment. Responsible for purchase requisitions, PO management, production scheduling, supplier negotiations, material availability, and procurement optimization.
Mandatory Skills:
- Purchasing, procurement, and production planning in manufacturing.
- SAP/Oracle ERP and MRP systems.
- Purchase requisitions, PO creation, and supplier management.
- Inventory management and production scheduling.
- Supplier negotiations and long-term purchasing agreements.
- EDI, ASN, and customer schedules.
- International procurement, customs, and US tariffs.
- Supplier delivery tracking, order expediting, and issue resolution.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Preferred: CSCP or Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) certification.
