Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Buyer/Planner for a Contract with a client in Urbana, OH. The ideal candidate will strategic procurement initiatives and oversee complex sourcing projects to ensure cost-effective, high-quality outcomes across the supply chain.

Rate Range: $30/Hour to $ 32/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Buyer/Planner Responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to support business objectives and optimize costs.

• Manage end-to-end procurement projects, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring.

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and supply continuity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with operational and organizational goals.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and internal governance requirements.

• Utilize procurement systems, data analytics, and reporting tools to drive process improvements and informed decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or project management.

• Proven experience managing procurement projects, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contract administration.

• Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
