PAY RATE: $30.42/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

• Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Sources, negotiates, and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and supplies.

• Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and establish price objectives.

• Monitors supplier performance for quality, reliability, and schedule adherence.

• Compiles information on price trends and manufacturing processes.

• Evaluates opportunities to leverage material acquisitions.

• Tracks data on price trends and manufacturing processes.

• Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes supplier operations to determine factors affecting prices and lowest cost.

• Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, and analyzes trends.

• Follows up orders, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains purchasing records.

• Prepares request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Must have a Secret clearance.

• At least 1 year of data entry experience.

• Ability to create and use Excel worksheets.

• Experience compiling and analyzing statistical data for purchasing decisions.

• Experience monitoring supplier performance and tracking price trends.

• Experience negotiating with suppliers and analyzing supplier operations.

• Experience reviewing proposals and selecting or recommending suppliers.

• Experience following up orders, verifying delivery, and approving payment.

• Experience preparing request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
