BuyerAmerican Products | Strafford, MOAmerican Products is seeking a Buyer to support our manufacturing operations through effective sourcing and purchasing of materials and services. This role partners closely with operations and suppliers to ensure quality, cost control, and on-time delivery.What You'll Do

Create and manage purchase orders to support production needsSource, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliersAnalyze pricing, proposals, and supplier data to ensure competitive costsTrack purchases, inventory levels, deliveries, and supplier performanceSupport cost‑saving initiatives while maintaining quality standardsCollaborate with production, operations, and finance teamsResolve vendor-related delivery, quality, or service issues

What You Bring

High School Diploma preferred2+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in manufacturingExperience buying raw materials or production supplies preferred2+ years of ERP experience (Syteline a plus)Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Detail-oriented, analytical, and solutions-focused mindset
