About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our client's team in the engineering sector. In this role, you will contribute to providing 3D models, drawings, and equipment BOM as per customer requirements, supporting service personnel in solving problems through simulations, and ensuring the accuracy, reliability, efficiency, and safety of mechanical, piping, and structural scopes of work for Hyperscale Data Center Modules.

Responsibilities

• Provide and check drawings/BOM as per customer requirements.
• Prepare bulk MTOs (Material Take Offs) and detailed BOMs with no supervision from Engineer.
• Ensure drawings follow the Engineering and QA/QC standards.
• Supervise the outsourcing of engineering design work to 3rd party engineering/design firms.

Requirements

• Mastery knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, PDF Editor, Solid Works, Autodesk AutoCAD, and Navisworks Manager/Freedom.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical, piping, and structural scopes of work.
• Technical Certification in the design discipline or a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Fluency, both written and verbal, in English.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Experience with high-density data centers and hyperscale environments.
• Understanding of the purpose of electrical systems for facilities.
