Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAD Drafter to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD 3D, AutoCAD, drafting automation, and solid modeling. They will use their expertise to create detailed technical drawings and plans for our engineering projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and practices. As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating, updating, and modifying drawings and designs, collaborating with engineers and other team members to ensure the accuracy of all projects. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of exciting and innovative projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality detailed design drawings and plans using AutoCAD 3D and AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and generate designs.
• Utilize drafting automation and solid modeling techniques to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
• Review all drawings for errors and potential problems before they are submitted.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest CAD software and technology.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies, client specifications, and industry standards.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Engineering or related field. (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD Drafting, specifically with AutoCAD 3D and AutoCAD.
• Proficient in drafting automation and solid modeling.
• Exceptional technical drawing skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of engineering terminologies and principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations is a plus.
