CAD Engineer JR

The Leidos Integration & Logistics Center supporting PMW550 Undersea warfare product support in Chesapeake VA has an exciting opportunity for a JR CAD Engineer.  The position will support the drawing packages used in the installation and upgrade of Surface ship sonar systems  

Drafting and correction of System installation drawings, and Installation Control Drawings.  Implementation of LAR’s(Liason action reports) That are corrections to drawing packages. 

Provide CAD support for United States Navy Undersea Warfare (USW) Systems technical drawing packages.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of as-built drawing packages

• Development of Ship Installation Drawing LAR packages using ANSI, ASME (Y14.5M), and/or NAVSEA (TS9090), standards and drafting requirements

• Incorporation of red line changes into existing drawing packages utilizing AutoCAD and Adobe Pro

• Provide CAD and drafting services as required in support of technical documentation development

Required:

• Proficient in AutoCAD – 2D

• Experience in utilizing Adobe Acrobat Pro for conversion of drawing products and deliverables

• Proficient with MS Office – Full Suite of Products

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 - 4 years of prior relevant experience

• Previous experience with NAVSEA engineering or technical documentation and drawings to include block wiring diagrams, SIDs, or ICD’s

• Clearance:  Ability to obtain and maintain secret
