Job Description

Job Summary:

The CAD Specialist will focus on digitizing and editing floor plans of buildings accurately and efficiently using CAD-based technology (Revit, AutoCAD, or MicroStation). The CAD Specialist should be familiar and knowledgeable with Revit, MicroStation, and/or AutoCAD products.

Responsibilities and Duties

Digitize and edit floor plans accurately and efficiently
Manage files, drawings, and maps for report output in various formats
Adhere to quality control procedures and maintain documented standard operating procedures
Stay updated on application upgrades and industry standards
Create accurate and detailed CAD drawings using either LiDAR Scans and/or Redlines
Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and project completion
May require creating and maintaining documentation
Ability to participate in regular Teams Call

Qualifications:

Associate degree or Technical School certificate in Computer Aided Design or related field, or minimum one year of experience
U.S. citizenship (due to federal contract requirements)
Valid Driver's License

Desired Technical Skills and Knowledge:

Solid understanding and experience with A/E/C CAD Standard 4.x (or later)
Minimum 6-12 months experience in:
MicroStation CAD (architectural application)
AutoCAD (architectural application)
Knowledge of architectural floor plans
Familiarity with MicroStation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and other industry-standard applications
Experience with reading LiDAR scans
Familiarity with Army regulations and organizational structure (preferred)
Experience with AR 415-28, AR 405-70, and AR 420-1 is beneficial
