CAD Technician - Heavy Civil Construction

Good in AutoCAD and tired of drafting in a back room nobody notices? Let's talk.

Site work around Northeast Ohio is busy. I'm working with an established heavy civil contractor that's winning more projects and adding a CAD Technician to keep up.

What you'll do:

• Produce and revise civil site drawings in AutoCAD, including grading, utilities and layout
• Build as-builts, shop drawings and exhibits for active projects
• Support estimating and project teams with takeoffs and plan markups
• Work with field crews and surveyors to keep drawings matching what's built
• Keep drawing sets organized and up to date

What you bring:

• AutoCAD required
• 1-5 years of experience, civil site work preferred
• Civil 3D is a plus
• Comfort reading civil plans and specs
• Cleveland-area based
