Position Title: CADWorx Piping Design Technician

Location: Hybrid (This is a hybrid position requiring attendance at an office 2 days per week. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of an available office location)

Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior-Level CADWorx Piping Designer to join a dynamic team in Texas. In this role, you will independently develop complex piping designs, lead project scope segments, and collaborate directly with engineers and multidisciplinary teams. You'll provide expert technical input on operability, model quality, and design standards while supporting workshare execution and contributing to estimating and change-management discussions. This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring presence in an office location twice a week within 50 miles of Texas.

Top Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Design Technology or related field, or equivalent practical experience (+2 years)
• 10+ years of piping design experience in industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Semiconductors
• Proficiency in CADWorx for piping design and modeling, with at least 3 years of recent, solid CADWorx experience
• Strong understanding of piping specifications, materials, equipment interfaces, and layout fundamentals
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, vendor drawings, and engineering documentation
• Proven ability to work independently while managing design tasks with minimal oversight
• Excellent communication and coordination skills within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on model and drawing accuracy

Ideally, You Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology or a related curriculum
• Semiconductor industry experience
• Working knowledge of pipe stress considerations impacting routing and support design
• Experience with QA/QC workflows, model health reviews, and specification-driven design
• Advanced CADWorx skills, including specifications and troubleshooting
• Leadership experience in piping teams, ensuring model consistency and quality deliverables
