Responsibilities:

• Design and decorate custom cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods for a variety of occasions
• Apply frosting, fondant, piping, and other decorative techniques to finished products
• Consult with customers to understand their vision and execute custom cake orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary decorating workspace
• Manage multiple orders simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Collaborate with bakers and kitchen staff to ensure quality and consistency
• Stay current with cake decorating trends and seasonal design themes

Requirements:

• Prior experience in cake decorating, pastry arts, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in fondant work, buttercream piping, and custom cake design
• Strong attention to detail and artistic ability
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
