A Cake Decorator is generally responsible for preparing, decorating, and finishing ice cream cakes and specialty desserts according to brand standards while providing guests with excellent service and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Decorate ice cream cakes and specialty desserts according to brand standards and guest requests
- Write personalized messages and create custom cake designs neatly and accurately
- Prepare cakes for display, pickup, and delivery orders
- Maintain proper quality, appearance, and freshness of all cakes and desserts
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times
- Stock decorating supplies, toppings, packaging materials, and ingredients
- Operate kitchen and decorating equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist guests with cake orders, questions, and recommendations
- Organize freezer, cooler, and decorating station areas
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, equipment, and guest areas
- Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers regarding orders and inventory needs
- Meet production timelines while maintaining attention to detail and product quality
- Assist with additional restaurant or bakery duties as needed
Education/Experience:
- Previous cake decorating experience preferred but not required
- Food service, bakery, or restaurant experience is a plus

- Bending, reaching, and carrying supplies throughout the shift
