Starting between $13-15/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and decorate cakes according to specifications for both special orders and walk-in customers.
- Operate the cake decorating area following established standards and procedures.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of decorated cakes, especially during peak times.
- Ensure all cake products meet Dairy Queen® standards of quality and excellence.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding any significant issues.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have at least 1 year experience in cake decorating.
- Must be able to work with buttercream icing, airbrush, and photocake.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit a positive attitude, good manners, and proper personal hygiene.
- Work as a team member to ensure consistent quality and service.
- Practice established food handling procedures and meet local health regulations.
