Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Calibration Technician for a Contract to Hire with a client in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate is responsible for calibrating and maintaining electronic and process measurement tools, ensuring NIST traceability, accurate documentation, and proper asset management within FSM systems.

Rate Range: $25/hour to $30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Calibration Technician Job Responsibilities include:

• Calibrate and verify electronic test equipment, including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, DC power supplies, and power analyzers to ensure measurement accuracy.

• Perform calibration and maintenance of process measurement tools such as clamp meters, ESD meters, fixed resistor decade boxes.

• Manage calibration assets within FSM systems by tracking equipment, updating maintenance records, and scheduling recurring calibrations.

• Ensure all calibration activities comply with NIST traceability requirements and established quality standards.

• Generate accurate calibration certificates, document results, and create Out-of-Tolerance (OOT) reports when equipment fails specifications.

• Identify, tag, and isolate non-conforming equipment to prevent use in critical applications such as aerospace and medical manufacturing environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology, Metrology, or equivalent military/trade school training.

• 2-5 years of calibration experience working with electrical test and measurement equipment.

• Strong understanding of voltage, current, resistance, and measurement uncertainty calculations.

• Hands-on experience with FSM (Field Service Management) systems or similar asset management databases.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
