Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Call Center Representative to join their growing remote support team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inbound calls, resolving issues, and delivering the kind of service experience that keeps people coming back. Day to day, you will spend most of your time on the phone and in the company's CRM, moving briskly between calls while keeping notes accurate and follow-ups on track. Responsibilities
Answer inbound customer calls in a prompt and professional manner
Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and requests on the first contact whenever possible
Accurately document call details and outcomes in the CRM system
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor
Meet or exceed individual performance metrics including call quality and average handle time
Stay current on product, service, and policy updates through ongoing training
Process orders, returns, refunds, or account changes as needed
Follow call scripts and company guidelines while adapting to each customer's needs
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities
Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 1 year of customer service or call center experience preferred
Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and CRM software while on a call
Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional with difficult callers
Strong typing skills and attention to detail
Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace
Availability to work scheduled shifts, including some evenings or weekends
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting
