CAM Programmer & CNC Setup Lead – SolidCAM/Haas

Help us build precision components that power critical industries. From first chip to final inspection, you’ll steer complex work on Haas mills and lathes in a fast-moving job shop in Benton, TN.

Impact of the role

Every week brings a new mix of parts. You’ll translate prints into SolidCAM strategies, stand up efficient setups, prove out safely, and document so future runs are repeatable—no late-night calls required. Autonomy matters here; your problem-solving keeps our four-day schedule humming.

Primary responsibilities

• Program in SolidCAM (or cross-train from Mastercam, CAMWorks, SOLIDWORKS CAM, GibbsCAM, Esprit, or Fusion).
• Own setups on Haas equipment, including tooling, fixtures, and offsets.
• Perform first-article and in-process inspections to GD&T requirements.
• Edit and optimize programs at the machine control for accuracy and throughput.
• Create clear setup notes and documentation for repeatability.

Background you’ll need

• 3+ years on CNC mills or lathes.
• Proven ability to set up your own work on Haas machines.
• Strong print reading, GD&T fluency, and self-inspection skills.
• Comfortable making edits directly at the control.

Nice-to-have capabilities

• Experience across both milling and turning.
• Live tooling, Y-axis, bar feeder, and 3rd-axis work.
• Fixture design and setup; CMM usage.
• Manual machining background.

When and where you’ll work

• Benton, TN
• Monday–Thursday, 6:30am–5:00pm (first or second shift) — a true four-day workweek
