Camp-In Instructor (Part-Time)

Camp-In Instructor: Teach hands-on science workshops as part of a team to Camp-In participants. Camp-In is an overnight program for kindergarten-5th grade and 6th-12th grade students in a scout or youth group. We provide lessons and materials for all workshops. All shifts are five hours, from 5:45-10:45 PM on Friday and/or Saturday evenings, from January to early May. Applicants must be able to attend two days of training on January 16 and 17 and commit to at least 8 shifts during the season.

•  Maturity and flexibility
•   Good organizational and people skills
•   Experience teaching groups of children
• Genuine interest in science content
• Must have completed at least 2-3 years of college; teaching professionals preferred
• Demonstrate good judgment, personal responsibility, and productive impact

• Attend training sessions as part of the onboarding process

Compensation: $16.50/hour

Hours: Part-time, variable schedule
