Camp Nurse – Summer Sleepaway Camp

Girl Scouts San Diego’s summer sleepaway camp is seeking an experienced Camp Nurse/Healthcare Supervisor to serve as the primary healthcare provider for campers and staff. You’ll provide compassionate medical care, maintain health records, and lead a small healthcare team all while enjoying a unique work environment in the mountains of Julian, CA.

Your Impact

As the onsite healthcare leader, you will:

• Care for Campers & Staff
• • Conduct health checks and provide day-to-day medical care
  • Treat illnesses/injuries and respond to emergencies
• Lead Health Center Operations
• • Oversee Health Center operations and the healthcare team
  • Review and maintain medical records
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies
• Support Camp Staff
• • Orient staff to camp medical services and health protocols
  • Guide staff in assembling and maintaining first aid kits

Employment Details

• Dates: June 1 - July 25, 2026
  
• Shift: 7am-7pm with breaks Mon-Fri, including night and intermittent weekend on-call duties
• Compensation: $254 - $271 per day (includes meals and lodging)
• Location: Live onsite at our overnight camp in Julian, CA
