Position OverviewAt Dris Corporation, the Cannabis Logistics Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating secure, compliant, and time-sensitive cannabis transportation operations. This role serves as the operational command center for daily logistics, maintaining constant communication with driving teams and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of deliveries and transfers.The Dispatcher also supports order packaging and preparation workflows, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and readiness prior to driver departure. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented onsite role critical to operational success and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Cannabis Logistics Dispatcher is responsible for, including but not limited to:Dispatch & Route CoordinationMonitoring and coordinating real-time routes for driving teamsMaintaining consistent communication with drivers throughout their routesResponding to incidents or issues on the road and coordinating with management, compliance staff, and appropriate authoritiesPrioritizing daily schedules and adjusting routes based on operational needsEnsuring drivers follow assigned routes and company protocolsSupporting the preparation and packaging of orders prior to driver departureVerifying that all orders are accurately packed, labeled, and organized according to the manifestConfirming quantities, destinations, and routing alignment before orders leave the facilityEnsuring packages are properly sealed, secured, and staged for transportCoordinating with inventory, vault, or fulfillment staff to resolve discrepancies before dispatchConfirming that all required documentation (manifests, weight sheets, delivery paperwork) is complete and accurateMaintaining chain-of-custody awareness and escalation of any packaging or documentation issues immediatelySecuring delivery services with required signal checks at designated intervalsReceiving, logging, and accurately recording all delivery signals across multiple Excel or Google Sheets documentsMaintaining dispatch logs, compliance records, and end-of-day reportsSupporting audits, internal reviews, and compliance checks as neededCommunicating clearly, calmly, and professionally with drivers, managers, and partnersRepresenting Dris with professionalism, urgency, and sound judgment at all timesRequired QualificationsMinimum age of 21 years oldHigh School Diploma or equivalentStrong proficiency in Excel and/or Google SheetsAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and applicable holidaysExcellent verbal communication and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills with extreme attention to detailAbility to multitask effectively in a high-volume, time-sensitive environmentDemonstrated emotional intelligence and professionalism under pressure
