YOUR DAILY ROLE AS A HOME HEALTH AIDE
As a Home Health Aide or CNA with Guardian Angel Senior Services, you will play an essential role in improving the well-being of our clients. Your responsibilities will include supervising and assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and hygiene to ensure comfort and safety. You'll also support mobility by encouraging participation in prescribed exercises like walking and range-of-motion activities.
You will assist with transfers from bed to chair, reposition clients as needed, and provide proper care to prevent pressure-related issues. Additional responsibilities include preparing meals according to dietary needs, providing medication reminders, and assisting with continence care. Light housekeeping duties will help maintain a safe and clean home environment, including laundry, trash removal, and grocery shopping when needed.
ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR A HOME HEALTH AIDE ROLE?
An HHA or CNA certification is required. If you're not yet certified, don't worry-we offer free training and certification programs to help you get started and grow your skills. Strong communication skills are important, as you'll be working closely with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
