Capital Equipment Sales Manager — Pyroprocessing & Comminution
Company: Fuller Technologies
Location: United States
Travel: 50–60% across the U.S., including overnight trips; most weekends at home.
A day in the role
Monday starts with a call from a plant manager weighing options for a kiln upgrade. By midweek, you’re walking a preheater tower with an operations lead, mapping out a modernization plan that cuts downtime and boosts production. Back home on Friday, you update your opportunity pipeline, refine a commercial proposal with engineering and product teams, and prepare for next week’s customer meetings at a trade event. That’s the rhythm: meaningful customer conversations, technical problem-solving, and closing capital equipment projects that elevate cement plant performance.
What you’ll own
- Build and execute territory strategies to grow sales of pyroprocessing and grinding systems.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new capital equipment opportunities with cement producers.
- Develop trusted relationships with plant managers, engineers, operations leaders, procurement, and executive decision-makers.
- Position technologies such as kilns, clinker coolers, preheaters, vertical roller mills, ball mills, separators, and related equipment.
- Diagnose operational challenges and present solutions that lift productivity, reduce operating cost, and deliver measurable ROI.
- Own the full sales cycle: discovery, technical discussions, proposals, negotiations, and contract awards.
- Partner with engineering, product management, proposals, and aftermarket teams to shape winning technical and commercial offerings.
- Create strategic account plans, maintain a robust pipeline, and forecast with accuracy.
- Track market trends, competitor moves, and North American capex activity to uncover new opportunities.
- Represent Fuller Technologies at customer meetings, plant visits, industry conferences, and trade shows.
