Housing & Food Services has an outstanding opportunity for a Capital Projects Specialist in Capital Projects & Planning to join their team.
About this Opportunity
The position plays a critical role in project delivery by monitoring construction activities, verifying work in place, enforcing contract requirements, and managing field-level decision-making. This includes coordinating multi-trade activities, identifying and mitigating risks, supporting change management, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and institutional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & In-field Coordination (40%)
Contractor & Vendor Coordination (25%)
Project Documentation (15%)
Sustainability & Compliance Support (10%)
Stakeholder Communication (10%)
The position works under general supervision and reports to Director, Facilities Planning
This position performs essential services and may be required to work during any period of declared suspended operation.
