Captive Account Manager

The Opportunity:

The Captive Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of captive insurance clients while working collaboratively with members of the Global Captive Solutions Team. This role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience in captive insurance management or auditing. The successful candidate will ensure timely financial and regulatory reporting, maintain regulatory compliance, and provide exceptional client service.This position can be hybrid from any of the Hylant office locations or 100% remote.

In This Role You Will Execute On:

• Manage a portfolio of captive insurance clients with varying reporting and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and review financial statements accurately and within established deadlines.
• Complete regulatory filings and submissions required by captive domiciles.
• Coordinate with auditors, actuaries, attorneys, regulators, and other service providers.
• Ensure client entities remain compliant with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness.
• Assist with board meeting preparation and presentation materials.
• Support business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to support department initiatives and knowledge sharing.
• Perform other duties and special projects as requested.

In This Role You Will Need:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA, CPCU, ACIA, ARM, ACI, or other relevant professional designations preferred, but not required.
• Ability to learn and apply insurance policy knowledge to accurately prepare policies, invoices, business plans and related client documentation.
• Minimum of one year of captive insurance, insurance accounting, auditing, or related experience.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and regulatory filings.
• An understanding of insurance and captive management principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple priorities effectively.
• Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, sound judgement, and a high level of accuracy.
• Collaborates effectively in a team environment, adapts to changing business needs, and pursues continuous professional development with professionalism and integrity.
• Ability and willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
