Job Description
Title: RN - Cardiac OR RNFA
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Schedule: Day Shift 3*12s 36 weeks
Hours: 36 or 48 HPW
Schedule: Primarily weekdays, 7 AM–7 PM or 11 AM–11 PM.
On-Call: As per unit needs.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience required.
License: Active NYS RN license required.
Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and CNOR required.
Additional Requirement: Telemetry experience required.
Required Skills & Responsibilities:
Assist with chest exposure and surgical closure during cardiac procedures.
Independently perform vein harvesting for CABG procedures.
Provide first-assist support during complex cardiac surgeries.
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
First assisting in Da Vinci robotic cardiac cases.
Scrubbing and circulating complex cardiac procedures, including:
CABGs
Structural heart procedures (Bentall)
Minimally invasive procedures (Mini AVR)
Heart failure procedures (Impella)
Heart transplants
