Job Summary

New hires may be eligible for a $20,000.00 sign on bonus!Starting rate is $47/hour. Hourly pay is based on experience, education, and certifications, plus additional differentials, premiums, and incentives where applicable.Key Responsibilities1.* Perform Comprehensive Cardiac Ultrasound ExamsIndependently perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs), portable cardiac ultrasound studies, and contrast/bubble studies while acquiring diagnostic images for physician interpretation.2.* Assess and Prepare Patients for ProceduresReview patient histories, prior imaging, and clinical information to ensure appropriate exam protocols and deliver safe, patient-centered care.3.* Document and Communicate FindingsPrepare accurate preliminary reports and communicate relevant findings to interpreting physicians in a timely manner.4.* Maintain Safety, Quality, and Compliance StandardsPrepare equipment and exam rooms, adhere to infection prevention and patient safety protocols, and comply with all privacy, departmental, and hospital policies.5.* Support Exceptional Patient ExperiencesUtilize proper positioning and ergonomic scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort, safety, and a positive experience for patients and families.6.* Contribute to Departmental ExcellenceParticipate in quality improvement and accreditation activities, assist with scheduling and workflow coordination, and meet established productivity and quality standards.

• Associate's degree in Sonography preferred
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI, or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS required
• Previous experience as a Cardiac Sonographer preferred
• New Hampshire locations:Medical Imaging License through the State of New Hampshire Office of Professional Licensure & Certification (OPLC) required upon hire
