Experience:
• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 3 months of travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• AS completion required.
Requirements:
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Nebraska Medicine.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Minimum 3 solid years of cardiac sonographer experience; will consider 2 years if they have been at an academic teaching hospital. - Minimum 2 years of travel experience; potentially open to less, however cannot take someone with this being their first assignment.
Required Credentials: - Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program performing all types of cardiac ultrasound in a health care environment may be accepted; 1 year of education equals 1 year of experience.
Special Requests: - Must disclose previous employment, including any Nebraska Medicine employment in the past 12 months in any capacity, on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. - At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Unit Details: - Performs cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound procedures, depending on position, and acquires appropriate echocardiographic and/or vascular data. - Provides education and training in ultrasound procedures for fellows, interns, and other staff. - Uses Philips EPIQs and Intellispace.
Shift & Scheduling: - Call as needed.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
