Experience:
• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• High School completion required.
Requirements:
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Nebraska Medicine.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 3 solid years of cardiac sonographer experience. Will consider 2 years if they have been at an academic teaching hospital. Minimum 2 years of travel experience. Potentially open to less; however, cannot take someone with this being their first assignment.
Required Credentials: Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program performing all types of cardiac ultrasound in a health care environment combined (one year of education equals one year of experience) required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with ultrasound equipment, transesophageal transducers, research computer systems, Centricity hospital information system, and digital echo storage system preferred.
Unit Details: Uses Philips EPIQ and Intellispace. Performs cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound procedures, depending on position, and acquires appropriate echocardiographic and/or vascular data; provides education and training in ultrasound procedures for fellows, interns, and other staff.
Shift & Scheduling: Call as needed.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
