Title: Cardiac OR Surgical Technologist
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Schedule: Floating Shift 3x12s 36Hours/week
- Specialty: Cardiac OR Surgical Technologist
- Hours: 36 or 48 hrs/week
- Shift: D/E/N rotating
- Weekends/Holidays: Required per unit needs
- Call: Required per unit needs
- Experience:2 years recent Cardiac OR experience
- Skills: Must be able to scrub & circulate
- Cases: CABG, TAVI, VAD, ECMO, Artificial Heart, Heart Transplants
- Requirements: NBSTSA Certification OR qualifying prior Surgical Tech experience
- Certification: BLS – AHA ONLY
- Duties: Prepare instruments/equipment, scrub during procedures, maintain sterile technique, surgical counts, sharps safety, medication/solution handling, instrument care & room turnover
