Description:
Medical City Healthcare is seeking a full-time board certified/eligible Adult Congenital Heart Disease Physician to lead the growing ACHD program at Medical City Children’s Hospital & Medical City Heart Hospital in Dallas, TX.  

Qualified Candidates:
  • Board certification/board eligibility in adult congenital heart disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine preferred
  • Experience and/or additional training in adult congenital heart disease required
  • Experience and/or additional training in noninvasive imaging preferred
  • Background and interest in clinical/outcomes research

About Medical City Children’s Hospital and Medical City Heart Hospital:
  • 254 bed pediatric hospital with the largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in North Texas
  • 108-bed Level IV NICU, regionalized care model with 9 Medical City Healthcare affiliated NICUs
  • Medical City Children’s Congenital Heart Center consists of 2 dedicated cardiovascular operating rooms, 2 cardiac catheterization labs, 1 hybrid suite, a 25-bed dedicated CICU/Stepdown Unit with 24/7 attending/NP coverage, ICAEL-certified Echo Lab, cMRI and collaborative 3D printing programs 
  • Two congenital heart surgeons with neonates/infants comprising 70-80% of surgical volume
  • 63-bed specialized adult Medical City Heart Hospital consists of 3 cardiac catheterization labs, 3 biplane EP/interventional catheterization labs, 3 dedicated cardiovascular operating rooms, 2 hybrid operating rooms with a 15-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and 48-bed Progressive Care Unit with 24/7 attending/NP coverage and a cardiovascular outpatient center
  • Full range of adult interventional procedures performed exclusively by the ACHD team covering both campuses
  • World class expertise in adult cardiac surgery, arrhythmia surgery, structural heart disease, cardiac transplantation and mechanical support
