Schedule:  Full-Time; Monday-Friday (8am-5pm)

Productivity incentives:  $1,500 CME allowance + 5 dedicated CME days

What You Will Do:

You will join our Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford team as a dedicated 1:1 clinical partner to a leading General Cardiologist, serving as an essential extension of their practice across both hospital and clinic environments.

 

Join an established team of 13 physicians and 11 APP's
Call structure: N/A
Practice setting: 50% inpatient, 50% outpatient
Employed position within a nonprofit health system
Board Certified or Board Eligible in cardiology
Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

 Inpatient Care (50%): Conduct daily hospital rounding, admission workups, diagnostic order management, and discharge planning for general cardiology patients.

Outpatient Care (50%): Manage clinic appointments, routine cardiac follow-ups, post-hospital discharge visits, medication titrations, and patient education.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing require
