Job Summary:
You will assists cardiovascular Physicians in performing and completing invasive, interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies.
Assists in Quality Control checks/Quality Improvement Program.
Performs all duties in a manner which promotes "team " concept and reflects the sisters of the hospital's mission and philosophy.
Able to observe hospital and departmental policies on confidentiality.
CVS patients served range from neonates to senior citizens.
Must be knowledgeable in Vascular, Cardiac, and Pediatric Procedural practice, Neuro interventional procedures, as well as emergent techniques/protocol.
Required qualifications:
H.S. Diploma or GED and Must have 3 years direct work experience in Cardiovascular, and/or Interventional Radiological procedures as a Cardiovascular Technologist.
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited school with supervised clinical experience in invasive Cardiovascular, and/or Interventional Radiological procedures.
Previous Special Procedures/Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist experience.
