Direct Care Professional (Caregiver) – Group Home & Adult Day Training


Join a team dedicated to making a difference! We are an APD-regulated agency seeking compassionate, reliable, and energetic Caregivers to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Seminole Group Homes and Adult Day Training (ADT) center.


What You’ll Do

• Support Daily Living: Assist residents with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks in a group home setting.
  
  
• Empower Growth: Facilitate engaging activities and vocational skills training at our Adult Day Training center.
  
  
• Community Integration: Accompany individuals on community outings and social events.
  
  
• Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs and progress notes in compliance with APD standards.
  
  

Requirements (APD Compliance)

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  
  
• Experience: 1+ year of experience in the medical, psychiatric, or childcare field (preferred), or a complex personal care background.
  
  
• Background: Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
  
  
• Training: Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  
  
• Reliability: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
