Caregiver

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide respectful, person-centered support to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. In this role, you will help promote comfort, safety, independence, and quality of life while building trusting relationships with those in your care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation and activities
• Support meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration reminders as needed
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe and organized environment
• Offer medication reminders in accordance with care plans and organizational policies
• Monitor and report changes in physical condition, behavior, or overall well-being
• Provide transportation or accompany individuals to appointments and errands, when applicable
• Follow individualized care plans and communicate effectively with family members, supervisors, and care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all safety, confidentiality, and professional standards

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home care, personal care, or related experience preferred
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient, and respectful support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions, care plans, and safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional presence
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform caregiving duties as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certification requirements, such as CPR/First Aid, may be required depending on the role
