Description
As a Caregiver you will providesupport and aide to our residents including but not limited to; daily ADL's, hygiene, meals, cleaning, activities and social and emotional support based on each resident's specific needs while in assisted living and group home settings.
Responsibilities:
Help residents with daily living, including using the toilet, bathing, washing, dressing, laundry, cleaning, cooking, and serving food
Provide physical assistance to residents who have limited mobility by helping them walk or transporting them in wheelchairs
Help residents maintain independence, promote dignity and physical safety
Engage residents in life enrichment activities
Perform administrative tasks including but not limited to; answering phones, greeting visitors and completing documents of care
Be reliable and dependable, including but not limited to, attendance and punctuality
Make decisions independent of supervisors as they relate to residents' safety and health
Be kind and courteous when interacting with everyone
Follow all policies and procedures
Position Requirements:
Minimum 18 years of age
Possess high school diploma or equivalent
Communicate effectively using verbal and written English language skills
Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
