We are looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers to join our mission of enhancing our clients’ lives, one day at a time. You will work one-on-one with clients, providing non-medical support that helps them live safely and comfortably at home while building meaningful relationships.
SERVICE AREA & SCHEDULING
We serve clients throughout South Orange County, including Irvine, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, and surrounding communities.
Specific workdays and hours depend on each client’s needs. Care needs and scheduling opportunities can change quickly, so flexibility and timely communication are important.
We thoughtfully match caregivers with clients, considering availability, location, experience, skills, client preferences, and compatibility. During the hiring process, please share your availability, preferred service areas, and travel preferences so we can identify suitable opportunities. Assignments and hours depend on client needs and matching considerations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide assistance with dignity, compassion, and respect. Duties vary by client and may include:
- Companionship and meaningful engagement
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assistance with walking and mobility
- Medication reminders
- Transportation to appointments and errands
QUALIFICATIONS
- CNA or HHA credential preferred, or experience caring for older adults or individuals with chronic illnesses: six months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work
- Strong communication skills and a respectful, compassionate approach
- Reliable transportation; caregivers transporting clients must also have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Proof of current TB testing
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Punctuality, reliability, and a professional attitude
- Ability to meet applicable background screening and California caregiver registration requirements
