Total Care Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate and dedicated Non-Certified Caregivers to join our team in Atlantic, IA. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to residents in an assisted living setting. Key Responsibilities:

Resident Assistance: Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.

Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.

Mobility Support: Help residents with mobility, including transferring, walking, and using mobility aids.

Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.

Meal Preparation: Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring residents receive nutritious and balanced meals.

Medication Reminders: Provide reminders for medication schedules as directed by healthcare professionals.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the supervisor.

Emergency Response: Assist in emergency situations, following established protocols and procedures.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the assisted living team to ensure coordinated and efficient care. Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Compassionate and patient demeanor.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed. Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
