Position Summary:

Assist the residents that they are assigned with activities of daily living (dressing, grooming, showers, mobility, medications, etc.), not so much by doing, but by encouraging and helping them to help themselves. Caregivers must create a kind, caring, supportive environment, follow medically directed patient care plans, and provide companionship.

Qualifications: If you meet the below – please apply!

• Previous caregiver experience preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Fingerprint and other pre-employment tests will be explained if offer extended

Responsibilities:

• Provide kind, encouraging patient support and assistance for assigned residents in their activities of daily living
• Encourage socialization by transporting or participating in recreation and leisure opportunities
• Monitor and report on any changes in condition
• Meal preparation or eating assistance and light housekeeping duties as assigned
• Medication reminders
